Aeonium tabuliforme ‘Variegatum’ is a visually striking succulent plant known for its low-growing, flat rosette shape and attractive variegated foliage. Commonly known as the Saucer plant and Variegated Dinner Plate, it is hard to find and highly sought-after succulent. It belongs to the Crassulaceae family and native to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. The leaves have a striking combination of green and creamy white or pale yellow. The variegation can appear in various patterns, such as stripes, mottling, or edging. They have a slightly fleshy texture and are often smooth and glossy. This plant  produces tall, slender flower spikes when it reaches maturity, usually in the spring or early summer. The flowers are typically small and have a yellow or greenish-yellow colour. While the flowers are not the main attraction of this plant, they add a subtle touch of beauty.

Plant care

Pot size: 12cm - Height (including pot): 17cm approx.

'Variegatum' thrives in full to partial sun. It benefits from plenty of sunlight to maintain its vibrant variegation.

It is drought-tolerant. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Water sparingly during the dormant season (winter) and increase watering during active growth (spring and summer).

They like temperatures that are a bit more warm, 15℃ - 25 ℃ is best for this plant.

It’s ideal for the level of humidity to be around 40-60%.

Considered a pet-friendly plant.
