Alaonema ‘Cherry Baby’ or Chinese Evergreen is known for its beautiful pink and green speckled leaves! This is a new variety and is a favourite of ours and although it hails from Asia, it is well suited to the conditions within most UK homes. Good air cleaning plant.
Plant care
Pot size 11cm - Height (including pot) 28cm approx.
Indirect light and shade is ideal for this plant.
Water when the first two inches of soil dries out. It is important to feel the soil to get a sense of how dry it is rather than to stick to a rigid watering schedule. The plant should never sit in water.
Aglaonema ‘Pink Paradise’ is suited to temperatures above 15°C and is best kept away from cold draughts.
Increasing humidity is not essential for this plant, but misting when the air is drier, for example when the central heating is on, will help this plant thrive.
Fertilise weekly during the growing season (March-Oct) for optimum growth. Please note that this plant is toxic when ingested, so might not be suitable if you have young children or pets.
