Alocasia sinuata commonly known as Chinese Alocasia and Sinuate-leaved Alocasia, is native to Southeast Asia and is an evergreen perennial plant that retains its beautiful leaves throughout the year. The foliage of Alocasia sinuata has a leathery texture and is a lush green to blue-green colour, sometimes with a metallic sheen. The leaf tops have prominent veining and one of the most distinctive features of this plant are the wavy, ruffled leaf edges that give it an almost curly appearance. With the right care, it is easy to look after.

Alocasia sinuata prefers bright, indirect light

It is recommended to water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. When watering, make sure to thoroughly saturate the soil, allowing any excess water to drain out of the bottom of the pot.

This stunning tropical prefers average room temperatures between 18°C-26°C.

Alocasia sinuata likes high humidity levels.

Keep your plant away from pets and children as it's toxic when ingested. Feed the plant once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Prune the plant to maintain its shape and remove any dead or yellowing leaves.
