Aloe vera ‘Barbadensis’ is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe. It has thick, wide, upright gray-green leaves which are filled with gooey flesh that stores water for survival in its native desert territories.  Aloe vera has become a popular houseplant and is very easy to maintain.

Plant care

Pot size: 12cm - Height (including pot): 42cm approx.

Full sun, partial sun.

Aloe vera’s soil should dry completely between watering and this plant should be watered twice as frequently in the Spring as in the Winter.

Average UK household temperatures are fine for this plant but keep away from draughts.

Being native to dry conditions this plant will not need high humidity.

Toxic for cats and dogs. Aloe vera does not require additional feeding.
