This foliage plant is commonly known as ‘Pinstripe’. A stunning plant with large emerald green leaves that have pink stripes. The Calathea is a fussy plant and can be difficult to care for.

Pot size: D12cm x H (including pot): 40cm approx.
Bright indirect light is essential for this plant, direct sun will scorch the foliage, shade will compromise growth.
Keep the soil evenly moist throughout spring and summer. During autumn and winter allow the top layer of compost to dry between watering it.
18°C - 24°C is ideal, and 15.5°C is the minimum temperature this plant can tolerate.
The Calathea dislikes dry air, particularly in winter so keep away from radiators. Mist the foliage regularly or place on a wet pebble tray.
Considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. Feed regularly during the growing season (March to October), heavily reduce or stop feeding throughout winter.
