Chamaedorea Metallica is commonly known as a miniature fishtail palm and metal palm tree. It produces stiff, leathery leaves with a metallic sheen that split like a fish or whale tails. This is a popular choice of houseplant for its attractive green foliage. They are super easy to look after but care is needed to maintain it’s good looks!

Find a space with bright, indirect light or a shaded area for best results. This palm is very shade tolerant and if placed in a shaded location will cause the leaves to turn darker.
This palm is drought tolerant, but for best results water once the soil begins to dry out. Do not overwater.
Average household temperatures are fine for this plant.
Normal household humidity is fine but would also appreciate the occasional misting.
Keep away from children and pets as consuming may cause harm.
