Gardenia jasminoides ‘Cape Jasmine’


The Gardenia jasminoides, also known as ‘Cape Jasmine’ has beautiful glossy, green evergreen foliage that flourishes all year long, and it develops wonderfully jasmine-like scented creamy white rose-like flowers for months on end. It originally comes from the south of Asia. This is a popular houseplant choice for brightening up a home.

This plant has been sustainably cultivated with love and respect for nature and a better environment.

Plant care

Pot size: 13cm - height (including pot): 28cm approx.

Gardenia jasminoides likes bright, indirect light.

Use tepid water when the topsoil is dry to touch and allow the pot to drain after watering. Do not let this plant dry out.

16 °C - 21 °C is ideal. Keep away from cold draughts and radiators.

Cape Jasmine requires high humidity. To increase humidity, place in a pebble tray with water.

Gardenia jasminoides is considered toxic to cats and dogs. Feed during active growth between March and September.
