This rare succulent is also commonly known as Aeonium diplocyclum and Mountain Rose. It forms a light green rosette which looks very similar to a rose. Native to the Canary Islands where it grows between the rocks in clusters and reaches a height of 6 inches. This succulent is Summer dormant and when this plant is actively growing between Winter and Spring, the leaves open widely and become flat.
