Greenovia diplocycla


This rare succulent is also commonly known as Aeonium diplocyclum and Mountain Rose. It forms a light green rosette which looks very similar to a rose. Native to the Canary Islands where it grows between the rocks in clusters and reaches a height of 6 inches. This succulent is Summer dormant and when this plant is actively growing between Winter and Spring, the leaves open widely and become flat.

Plant care

Pot size: 6cm - Height (including pot) 8cm

Full sun.

Use the soak and dry method to water this succulent. When the rosettes have fully closed it means they have grown dormant and will not require water. Avoid overwatering and it should not sit in water as this will cause root rot.

The best temperature range is between 18°C - 24°C.

Low humidity levels are ideal for this plant.

This plant is considered toxic and can potentially harm your pets or children. Make sure to place it in a safe spot!
