This unusual eye-catching plant will create a tropical jungle look in your home. It has emerald, glossy bright green heart-shaped foliage which is elevated by deep red stems.

This plant will thrive in medium light conditions.
Homalomena plants do not like to be dry, nor do they like to be sitting in water. Keep to a regular watering regime where the soil is moist using water at room temperature, but do not allow the plant to sit in water. In cooler temperatures reduce watering.
This plant will thrive in temperatures of 16°C - 32°C and it is pretty resilient to lower temperatures too.
Keep humidity moderate to high but this plant will do well in normal household conditions. Keep away from heaters and cold draughts.
All parts of this plant are toxic so keep away from pets. Feed twice a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
