Hoya crassipetiolata is a vining tropical plant distinguished by its large, waxy oval leaves veined in deep green. the foliage has a leathery texture with prominent veining. Occasionally the plant produces fragrant star-shaped flower clusters in white to yellow hues on short spurs off the trailing stems. When not in bloom, this Hoya remains ornamental for its bold, decorative leaves that emerge light green maturing to darker olive green. This plant is native to Sulawesi, Indonesia and part of the Apocynaceae family.

Plant care

Pot size: 6cm - Height (including pot): 15cm approx.

Bright, indirect is ideal but this plant can tolerate partial shade.

Sensitive to overwatering, allow it to dry between waterings. More water will be needed in the growing months.

Normal household temperatures are fine.

Hoya crassipetiolata grow best with the humidity level of 50% - 60%. Gently mist it once a week and it's best to mist your plant in the morning so the water has plenty of time to evaporate before evening.

Considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. Feed monthly in the growing period (spring and summer).
