This plant is a flowering vining plant of the wax variety and is a hardy plant, which is low maintenance so good for beginners. This species of Hoya have the largest leaves that are glossy green with characteristic white veins. Scented clusters of star shaped flowers will appear from late spring to late summer. Commonly known, as wax plant or porcelain flower due to the flowers looking like they are made of wax.

Bright and indirect light. This Hoya is not as sun-hungry like others.
Likes to dry out between watering.
Average household temperatures are fine for this plant.
This Hoya will do fine with humidity levels just over 40%.
Considered nontoxic to pets but keep out of reach just to be safe. Feed once a month, especially during growth periods.
