Hoya vilosa is a captivating and unique plant that captures attention with its distinctive features. This Hoya species, native to Southeast Asia, is renowned for large velvety leaves with rippled edges and a fuzzy underside. Another highlight of a mature Hoya vilosa is its clusters of petite, star-shaped flowers. The blooms, often in delicate shades of pink or white, add a touch of elegance.

Plant care

6cm pot - Height (including pot): 15cm approx.

Bright, indirect light.

Sensitive to overwatering, allow it to dry between waterings. More water will be needed in the growing months.

Normal household temperatures are fine for this plant but the minimum temperature is 10°C.

Hoya vilosa grows best with the humidity level of 50% - 60%. Gently mist it once a week and it's best to mist your plant in the morning so the water has plenty of time to evaporate before evening.

Considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. Feed once a month in the spring and summer.
