This evergreen plant has some of the most strikingly beautiful, decorative patterned leaves which will open and close with the changing light. Also, known as Maranta ‘Beauty Kim’ or The Prayer Plant, is a native to Brazil hardy tropical plant. The Maranta is an air purifier plant.
Plant care
Pot size: 12cm - Height (including pot): 25cm to 40cm approx.
Prefers bright indirect light.
In spring to autumn, water your Maranta regularly with tepid water so the soil stays moist.
Between 15°C - 23°C is ideal.
The Maranta needs high humidity, so misting its leaves will help care for this plant. However, it will do OK with average humidity as well.
This plant is considered non-toxic.
