Description
Monstera deliciosa ‘Variegata,’ also known as Variegated Swiss Cheese Plant, was once considered for only serious plant collectors. These plants are growing in popularity and are becoming a must have houseplant! They have heart-shaped leaves that are richly variegated with creamy white markings. The variegation patterns can vary greatly, with some leaves displaying bold splashes or streaks, while others may have a more subtle marbled effect. The variegation adds a stunning contrast to the deep green portions of the foliage.
The gorgeous white colouring means that these plants have less chlorophyll than regular Monsteras, which means they will have a harder time converting sunlight to energy. It needs lots of light (but not direct sun), regular watering, and it will be happy.
