Monstera dubia


Monstera dubia is a hard-to-find rare Monstera vining houseplant is commonly known as a Shingle plant. Dark green leaves are heart-shaped with silver variegation on them. Leaves lie flat on a wooden board. Once the plant matures the leaves will split, like the Monstera deliciosa. The plant needs to climb for it to mature.

Plant care

Pot size: 15cm - Height (including pot): 55cm approx.

Monstera dubia likes bright indirect light and away from direct sunlight.

Water Monstera dubia when the top two inches of soil is dry. Do not overwater so the soil is soggy, this will cause root rot.

This plant is happiest in temperature of 15°C to 32°C. Keep away from draughty windowsills.

This monstera requires high humidity of 60% to 90%. This plant will enjoy misting every now and again.

Monstera dubia has toxic properties, so best to keep out of reach of pets and children. Feed three times in the year.
