Also known as the Monstera standleyana, is an eye-catching and popular plant for its firm green leaves with creamy-yellow variegations. A climbing houseplant with long leaves, which are pointed and straight-growing hence the ‘Cobra’ reference in its name! Relatively fast growing and known to grow to an impressive height, it is also a low-maintenance tropical gem.

Bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light.
Allow this plant to nearly completely dry out between watering. It is important to feel the soil to get a sense of how dry it is rather than to stick to a rigid watering schedule. Allow water to drain through completely when watering so that the soil is saturated, but the roots are not left sitting in water. This plant is prone to root rotting and other fungal issues if overwatered.
Thrives in temperatures above 12°C, so keep out of cold draughts.
Will do best in moderate to high humidity of 40-60%.
This plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Feed once a month in the growing season.
