Native to Brazil, this Philodendron Tortum will make a striking addition to your Philodendron collection! It is a rare plant with extra-special dark green leaves that are shaped like swords. It is an evergreen plant that belongs to the Arum family. This plant has several air-purifying benefits.
Plant care
Pot size: 15cm - Height (including pot): 50cm approx.
Suited to bright, indirect light.
Water when the top inch of soil has dried out but do not allow to sit in water.
Suitable for temperatures in the average UK home but should be kept out of cold draughts.
This plant would appreciate some extra humidity through misting regularly, especially when the air inside is drier, for example when the heating is on. If the edges of the leaves begin to crispen, the humidity needs to be raised.
This Philodendron is toxic to pets and humans. Feed monthly during spring and summer and this can be reduced to every 6-8 during the winter months.
