Pilea depressa ‘Tiny Tears’ is a popular hanging houseplant and is also known as depressed clearweed, being native to Mexico, Caribbean and Brazil. It has a mat of glossy, green round leaves and has fast-growing trailing vines. It is super easy to look after and produces tiny white flowers in spring. Keep it as a hanging plant or place it on a high shelf for an eye-catching feature!

Allow the top of the soil to dry out between watering depressed clearweed.

Average UK household temperature is fine for Pilea depressa ‘Tiny Tears’.

Moderate to high humidity, keep indoor humidity higher than 40%.

Depressed clearweed is considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. We recommend regular pruning to keep this fast-growing plant nice and tidy.
