Radermachera sinica ‘China Doll Plant’


Radermachera sinica, also commonly known as the China doll plant. This is a fairly new houseplant, and it was introduced in the 1980s. A stylish plant that grows in a shape of a tree but remains compact in size. It has attractive glossy, mid-green leaves and a thick trunk. It originates from the mountains of South China and Taiwan. It is an easy indoor plant that loves attention!

Plant care

Pot size: D11cm - Height (including pot): 32cm approx.

Radermachera sinica likes bright, indirect light.

Keep soil evenly moist year-round. Do not allow the soil to become soggy or dry out.

Average UK room temperatures are fine for China doll plant and it will tolerate a minimum 10°C.

Average room humidity is more than enough to keep Radermachera sinica happy.

China doll plant is toxic to cats and dogs. Too much watering can result in yellow leaves. Feed during Spring and summer.
