The Resurrection Plant’s botanical name is Selaginella Lepidophylla and it is also commonly known as Rose de Jericho and the Dinosaur Plant. This fascinating plant can survive for up to several years without water by drying up and lying dormant. Once watered they revive within a couple of hours and bloom into beautiful, lush green ferns.

Quickly dip the plant in water and then place it in a bowl with pebbles. The water should reach just above the pebbles with the roots in the water. You do not want to submerge it in the water too much. Be mindful, that these plants are sensitive to water quality, so we recommend using tap water left overnight.
Normal household temperature is fine but do not place next to draughty windowsills.
Average humidity is ideal for this plant.
After the resurrection plant has been rehydrated in water, you have the option of transferring it to soil where it can be grown as a healthy potted plant, or if you are going to keep the plant in water then keep one day a week as a water-free rest day. This plant does not tolerate to be in constant water and will rot it left in water too long. Every couple of weeks, allow this plant to dry out completely. Then repeat the process!
