Rhipsalis clavata ‘Easy Sweety’ is a charming and unique plant known for its striking appearance and easy maintenance. It belongs to the Rhipsalis genus, which is a group of epiphytic (a plant that grows on other plant) cacti native to tropical rainforests in Central and South America. Commonly known as Mistletoe Cactus and sausage-chain cactus.  ‘Easy Sweety’ is a compact plant that typically grows in a trailing or cascading manner. It features long, cylindrical, and segmented stems that resemble flattened, greenish-brown chains or noodles.  The foliage has a visually appealing cascading effect, making it an excellent choice for hanging baskets or as a trailing plant on shelves or in macrame hangers.

Plant care

Hanging pot size: 14cm

Rhipsalis prefers bright, indirect light.

Rhipsalis clavata 'Easy Sweety' prefers slightly moist but well-draining soil. Water the plant thoroughly and allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering should be avoided, as it can lead to root rot.

It thrives in typical room temperatures ranging between 18-24°C. Protect it from cold droughts or sudden temperature fluctuations.

This plant appreciates higher humidity levels, but it can adapt to average indoor humidity.

Safe for pets. Feed monthly in the growing season (spring to summer).
