Sansevieria cylindrical is a succulent admired for its tall, spear-shaped leaves. Native to Africa and commonly known as African Spear plant or Cylindrical Snake.  It tends to grow in a rosette-like form, with multiple cylindrical leaves emerging from the center of the plant. The leaves are often slightly curved and come to a point at the tip and are a deep green colour with faint lighter crossbreeding.

Like other Sansevieria species, Sansevieria cylindrica is an excellent air purifier, helping to remove toxins from the air and improve indoor air quality.  This plant is a popular choice for both beginner and experienced plant enthusiasts due to its unique appearance and low-maintenance nature. Its striking, cylindrical leaves make it an eye-catching addition to homes and offices, and it thrives in a variety of indoor environments.

Plant care

Pot size: 12cm - Height (including pot): 26cm approx.

Provide it with bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may not grow as vigorously.

Let the soil dry out between waterings. Water every week to every other week in the summer and during the winter months, water roughly once a month.

These succulents grow naturally in hot, dry climates so the ideal temperatures would be above 10C and to keep it away from draughts.

This plant does not require additional humidity.

Toxic to cats and dogs. Feed monthly in the growing period (spring and summer).
